Sue from NZ Cancer Society

The student councillors invited Sue from the Cancer Society of NZ to come and accept the cheque. We had raised the sum of $895.70. Well done to the PCS whanau for their great support!!!

Daffodil Day

Last Friday the Student Councillors hosted a Daffodil mufti day. The main purpose was to support the Cancer Society of NZ. Everyone in our school got to wear something which was either green, yellow or orange. The school looked really colourful. They made a gold coin donation.







Tongan Language Week 2019

This week we celebrated Tongan Language Week. 

The theme for this year is: Fakakoloa 'o Aotearoa 'aki 'a e Tauhi Fonua -which means:  A Tongan Perspective of Enriching Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The Student Councillors had been learning a traditional Tongan dance known as the ma'ulu'ulu –(mah-oo-loo-oo-loo). It’s a sitting dance and the movements are mostly shown through the hands as well as the tilt of the head known as the teki (tek-key).
