Mini Sports at Break times by Playground Role Models

Mother's Day Draw

During Week 4 assembly, the Student Councillors did a Mother's Day competition.

Young Leaders Day

The Year 6 Student Councillors and the Kaiawhina Rangatahi went to 2019  National Young Leaders Day. There were some inspirational speakers who spoke about the importance of having a good conversation and treating others the you want to be treated or treating them the way they want to be treated.

The Speakers were: 

RONNIE TAULAFO

Ronnie is best known for his role as a presenter on What Now, and is currently working on his first feature length film. He’s passionate about seeing young people in Aotearoa reach their full potential.

KINGS

KINGS (Kingdon Chapple-Wilson) burst onto the music scene in 2016 with the release of his single, Don’t Worry ‘Bout It, which went to number one on the NZ Singles Chart. KINGS has become one of Aotearoa’s most in demand live acts, regularly performing at some of the country’s biggest events and festivals. 

DR LEHAN STEMMET

Dr. Lehan Stemmet is passionate about seeing people reach their full potential. Lehan has studied up a storm around the way that people work and what makes them great leaders. 

HANA TAPIATA 

Hana’s incredible blog promotes the value of understanding who we are and where we come from. She’s got a significant online presence that already inspires so many across Aotearoa. Hana’s heart is to help young people better understand themselves and to empower them for the future.


CHRISTIAN GALLEN

Christian Gallen joined Attitude in 2009 after completing a BA in Te Reo Māori. Since then he has spoken to over 100,000 young people around New Zealand with his trademark positive and inspirational presenting style.
